Bergisel in Innsbruck

Berg Isel, Innsbruck

The Olympic ski jump, which was restored in 2001, and the Bergisel ski jumping, which is part of the international Four Hills Tournament, have turned Bergisel into a first-class attraction for sports-lovers and tourists alike.
It now only takes 2 minutes to get to the visitor’s lift via the new inclined lift and then people can go on up to the cafe and restaurant in the tower and visit the panoramic viewing platform up a further 50 metres. The 360° view takes in the Tyrolean mountains, stretching over to Innsbruck and the surrounding areas. Athletic types will master the 455 steps from the entrance to the stadium on the east side to the ski jump tower by foot.
